"Messengers of Light" begins in silence, and then in sound — a solitary voice entering low and quiet, like someone walking gently into a room already filled with unseen presence. Slowly, that voice is joined by another, then a choir, gathering the way angelic beings might gather around someone who is listening.

The piece moves beyond language into light language — tones and sounds that carry meaning the way a felt presence does, without needing to be understood by the mind. It is Ashana's transmission of a truth she returns to often: that we are never alone, that we are multidimensional beings surrounded always by guides, angels, and beings of light available to us for wisdom, comfort, and love.

Woven with crystal singing bowls, the crystal pyramid, and the esraj — a bowed string instrument from India whose tone carries an unmistakable sense of longing — the arrangement stays spare by design, giving each element room to be fully heard as it enters. The song closes as it began: with the crystal bowl, its final gong settling the piece into stillness.
